With autumn quickly approaching I have been so excited about what clothes I will soon be emptying out of storage and what new textures are on trend. On a recent shopping trip to London I discovered the amazing shop The Sting. It was opened on the corner of Regent Street & Piccadilly in 2010 and is a Dutch chain. Oh my goodness the choice there, is immense. There are 3 floors packed with hundreds of items from a range of looks and trends. For the rock chicks out there, there’s leather jackets, stud black boots and cool t’s. For the romantics, there’s soft suede waterfall jackets & cami’s. What I also liked was the cost, this is affordable fashion (especially when there’s a sale). I loved it and it immediately inspired me to do this post. A key fabric this season will be suede. It feels amazing against your skin and looks lush!!!

So here are a few ways you can wear suede this autumn and winter.

Light Pink & Baby Blue

The Sting house a variety of European brands including one called Costes. It is from the Costes Autumn/Winter range that these gorgeous light pink and khaki suede pieces are from. I like comfort during the day, so when putting this outfit together I had this in mind. I love relaxed skinny jeans, but to add a little glamour to this, I added a suede cami and flat glitter shoes.

This tote bag is my favourite new purchase. It has a snakeskin effect on the sides and fits everything and the kitchen sink inside.

Khaki & Baby Pink

Day Into Night Outfit

PS Complete

This is a perfect transitional outfit for moving from summer through to autumn. The white jeans give it a summer feeling but mixing it with the Khaki suede jacket you won’t look like an idiot that is pining over the summer sun. The Jacket is light and gives a great shape to any silhouette. Because of the floaty lines it hides a multiple of sins and is also very versatile. It can be worn with anything and lets face it, for this price, will be a brilliant staple addition to any wardrobe.

This whole look was so comfortable but looks chic enough that it would work for a day into night ensemble.

TIP

Spend a little more on staple items and accessorise with cheaper jewellery that will go in and out of fashion

Grey Suede & Leather

Night Outfit

complete

For a sexy evening look I mixed two of my favourite fabrics, suede and leather. These suede knee high boots come in at a brilliant cost and look amazing teamed with leather trousers or skinny jeans. I teamed this again with a suede cami by Costes.

I hope you have found inspiration with these looks, What fabrics do you like to mix? Please leave your comments below 🙂
